I’m a qualified, EMCC Accredited (European Mentoring and Coaching Council) personal and professional development coach. I’m a member of the Association for Coaching and the International Coaching Federation.

Here’s a snapshot of my background to help you decide if I might be the right coach for you

I’m Irish, and I live in Manchester.

For over 20 years I have worked in Unscripted Television.

I started out on a 2 week contract as a receptionist in the BBC and didn’t leave for 10 years. By that time I was a fully fledged Series Producer ready to spread my wings and go freelance.

More recently I spent nearly a decade as an Executive Producer and Creative Director for a successful Independent Production company that was eventually bought by Sky.

I’ve made literally hundreds of hours of television, and I’ve travelled all over the world. Although it sounds glamorous, and sometimes it was, I also spent many years making big personal sacrifices, shouldering enormous pressure, navigating toxic work cultures.

When I became a Senior Leader I took pride in building a respectful workplace culture where people could do their best work. Other people fulfilling their potential has always been my true passion. That’s what drew me to coaching.

Alongside my coaching practice I work as a Consultant, safeguarding Contributor Welfare in high profile TV shows.

Like many of my clients I’m increasingly aware of how short life is…

This is me, aged around 5, with Benji, my next door neighbours dog!

That was nearly 50 years ago.
